High quality adapters (5 pieces) 1/2” MNPT x 1/4” FNPT

Quality product, threads are perfect, comes with a plastic cap marked 1/2 inch to protect the threads. Description photos are accurate, the size is reduced by 1/4 inch everywhere.

Pros
  • Tube fittings
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

Very good product, worked as expected

Just what I needed to reduce the connection size of my new indirect water heater to the boiler pipes. I chose stainless steel because the water heater has stainless steel fittings and I wanted to avoid foreign metal corrosion.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Damaged

I ordered a 1/2 inch male thread to a 3/8 inch female thread. No part of the product I received matches these measurements. I'm not sure what part the manufacturer measures, but they MUST measure from the top of the threads to the diameter of the adapter. This applies to elements with both internal and external threads. The item I received has an outside diameter from the top of the threads to the top of the threads of 3/4 inch while the inside has an inside diameter from the top of the threads

Pros
  • Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Plumbing
Cons
  • Something else
