I ended up buying another one from another company. Your description said it would work with a case. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max with a standard protective case. I had to slide it into the holder but it took almost both hands to get it out. I would not recommend this for the Iphone 11 Pro Max. This can work well with the smaller iphone.

Hey, this is a good case, there are others like that. HOWEVER, when your iPhone 11 is in the OtterBox Defender case, it will be very difficult to insert and remove the phone, this requires 2 hands: one holding the case, the other removing it. And the constant opening and closing of the Velcro loses its stickiness after a while so I've had other covers as if this is the only one I can use with a tool belt. So it is used extensively.

The clip is the same as other clips on phone holders. If you are not careful, the holder can slip off the belt. I always use belt loops. The straps came off the cover. No small wear over time. They just blew it. Now I use a clip. The clip detached from the housing. And now I see that this is not a leather bag. This is a paper core covered with a thin layer of external material.

Got a Takfox holster. My iPhone XR fits perfectly. The only point of criticism is the velcro noise when lifting the flap. I had a swivel phone case with a broken hinge but with a magnetic closure. I took out the magnets and installed them in the Takfox. The flap now opens and closes silently. The case is durable and offers many options for inserting a strap. I will buy another one when this one wears out.

It holds my Z Fold 2 which is thick and fits well. I had to revise this review and deduct two stars after using it. I like the nylon construction of the bag. Unfortunately, the metal belt hook design doesn't hold very well on all my belts. It might come off. If you put the belt through the loop on the holster it certainly won't fall off, but I want to hook it onto the belt and not pull the belt through. Upgrading the hook gives you an excellent holster.

I wish I had bought a holster for my Samsung A11 with an adjustable belt clip so I could turn the phone sideways and not just upright.
