I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

Although special moisture protection is not declared, the lens has repeatedly fallen under heavy rain and "came out dry from the water. " Has pros: The widest range of focal lengths, light, quiet, HA at an acceptable level. Has some cons: Perhaps a range limiter would be useful for even faster focusing

The product is working, I will not repeat it for sure.

Oh Nikon! Release your 16-200 lens and I will no longer be interested in all sorts of tests and releases of new glasses by anyone . Pros: Glass for those who see and understand the difference between 18mm and 16mm. Plus a telephoto, of course . For travelers, it makes sense to buy it. I am one of those :-) Cons: There were and are Nikora 18-55, 18-200, 55-300, and my favorite 16-85. Fot D5300 (with GP, - for which I love only him) Tamron 16-300. So: Too contrasting and hard picture, it seems…

Gorgeous close-ups

Got a lens right before visiting Custer State Park, Blackhills, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Yellowstone and Grand Teton - what a blessing! Great photos "nearby".

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Secret

I like the wide angle to increase the range

All right. I use it on Canon t3i. I bought it so I don't have to change lenses. I like the wide-angle zoom range, but I also want my photos to be SHARPNESS and that's just not great, especially at the maximum 300mm zoom. I am very disappointed so I will most likely sell it.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Better than nothing on a budget

As expected, you won't get the sharpest images, especially if you're not in bright sunlight. Better than nothing. Note, however, that you won't get professional-quality images. However, it is not a waste. If you really need a big zoom lens on a budget. An honest start is here. If you can, choose the Canon 18-200mm. However, this 16-300mm gives you more "zoom". Is there VC (Vibration Control). Pictured is the lens fully extended next to a standard sized wine bottle. So pretty compact.

Pros
  • Nice package
Cons
  • For seniors

Not satisfied - Camera lens issues

This lens would be great if it weren't for the chromatic aberration at the bottom and top of the zoom and the fact that the lens doesn't interact with the camera in live mode. CA occurs below 35mm and above 125mm and is very poor. If you shoot in RAW format and use an image editing program, the CA problem can be solved. However, I don't do both. It's annoying to have a lens with such utility, but one that's limited to a narrow range of uses. Second, the lens only works in viewfinder mode…

Pros
  • Many will fit
Cons
  • For old

I didnt expect the quality to be so high.

I took this lens to replace the failed SIGMA 18-250. If you compare them, then the sigma is sharper and it has less chromatic aberration (CA). Sigma is good, of course, but I wanted to cover the 16-18mm gap that I had previously (I also have SIGMA 8-16) plus add a 250-300 range. Despite all the shortcomings, you need to understand that buying such a super-zoom you are buying a set of compromises. In the case of this Tamron, the set is as follows: a) if you want something reminiscent of…

Pros
  • FR range. Holds backlight very well. Build quality and materials. Stabilization. Diameter for filters 67 mm. Warranty 5 years.
Cons
  • Dark, soapy at the open hole and at the long end, chromatic aberration and geometric distortion.
