This leather punch was purchased to punch holes in a quilted tapestry that I was decorating. It works great for this because it's so sharp and precise. I bought a number of hole punches from other manufacturers, thinking they would work for what I was going to use them for, but they didn't. After using the Tandy punch I realized how amazing it is and ordered a 1/8 inch punch as well. More expensive than branded goods, but worth every penny! You get what you pay for!
