I couldn't tell the Line 20 from the Alligator. Based on the description and other reviews of this product, I bought it along with Tandy Line Snaps #1263-03 and they work great. I wouldn't roll a setter, just tap it a few times and voila, a politically correct holster correctly turned into an easy-to-break thumb without compromising my security. Use this kit, it's inexpensive and works well!

As for setting the latches (a pain without this tool) I did a blunt punch, this set is the ticket to a well done one Work, like all Tandy tools, it's 1st class. Thanks to everyone who writes reviews. So I know what works best and thanks Revane for making it possible to shop at my ranch -70+ miles one way from any tool store.

Definitely for those with a lot of manual strength. Many people use this as a means to change clasps on boat trunks, coats, jackets, tool bags, etc. I couldn't properly center the fasteners (top and bottom) - they kept slipping. I had a friend who worked as a locksmith and he had the same problem. That's enough for some binding settings, but not for the bindings I need. I ended up buying a latch that looked like a vise. Gets the job done instantly, even if you have to be Hercules.
