Assembly instructions

This is my second inquiry. I received the product but there were no installation instructions with it. I want to install the product but can't, no instructions.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • High price

mechanical tilt is probably a must.

Very well put together. The installation took about 4 hours. Considering I've never done it before, I guess it wasn't that bad. There are no instructions for installation, but if you take your time it's easy to figure out. I would buy again.

Pros
  • Makes me happy
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Lucky Im Mechanic

That's GOOD but no instructions even those in the description are vague ---- If you don't understand how they're supposed to work you better find someone lol. They say to remove the header pipes but all I had to do was unbolt them from the heads. Install your M/C with the new "axle" BEFORE reinstalling the footpeg X-bar. I'm happy with them even though they were PITA to install

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

After receiving them I put the rods on short for great dining. Couldn't shift, had to force the linkage to run. Then I rode it and the bolt holding the brake lever in place fell off on the track and almost caused an accident. Don't waste your money, life is more precious. You are safe

1997 Suzuki Intruder vs1400

The ONLY reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the lack of instructions. However, I am very happy with this product and would recommend it if you can work on your journey. The headers must be removed to gain access to the front engine mount. FYI for the next buyer, the shift side is incredibly simple compared to the brake side. Lots of swearing on my part. Yet again; Great product, very comfortable fit, the length and comfort I wanted and a killer look.

  • Fits many

BEWARE! Mechanics lovers simply must

First of all they are very well made and work great. BEWARE! No installation instructions! Although the assembly diagram is. If you are not mechanically inclined and lack patience, this is NOT for you. Also remember that you will need to unbolt the exhaust manifolds to remove the long front engine mount bolt and dismantle the original hydraulic braking system. Overall the finished setup is wonderful and I am very happy with the quality, functionality and the very reasonable price compared to…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • boring packaging

High-quality, affordable front panel!

Incredibly well made for the price. Would buy again! As many of you have trouble installing this. Here we go. 1-Remove both distributor tubes.2-Remove and lower the pedal crossbar.3-Remove the brake pedal assembly.4-Remove the right footrest.5-Install the brake pedal adapter.6-Remove the shifter. Remove 7 shifter cable. (leave the rear ball joint on the shifter arm) 8-Remove the left side stand.9-Replace the cross member, do not reinstall the two front center bolts.10-Unscrew the front engine…

  • Impressive
Cons
  • Sad hardware

Great fit. but here is what i would like to know.

They fit perfectly but. The switch side needs an extra step which they don't mention in the guide. The OEM shifter bayonet must be removed and rotated to align with the Tarazon shifter rod. The bar must be between the pedal and the bracket. This is an offset from where the factory shifter would be in your stock. It takes some fine tuning to get your bike shifting properly, but this little trick can save you time. I lengthened the shifter a few inches to keep the shift pedal in a comfortable…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
