Works well with Tascam DR-70D recorder that requires a wired remote control. In fact, this is an IR module that is inserted into the bracket. There is a belt clip on the holder. The bottom hinges open to allow the IR module to slide in, and the hinges snap to secure the IR module inside. The IR module is powered by its own CR2025 battery.
