All in all these are good, strong, clear binoculars. But the minimum focusing distance I measured was about 60 feet for the 16x50 model, which combined with too much magnification, makes it totally unsuitable for birdwatching. The 12x50 model has a focal length of 28 feet, far from the advertised 18 feet. Also not suitable for bird watching

Good binoculars, good for photo and photography

These binoculars are good value for money. I had the minimum requirements, basically I saw what was happening around my apartment. One caveat: when I received the item, the focusing mechanism was not working. I was confused because while it clearly had a focusing drum, it was frozen in place. Corresponds to rated power!

Well, I got them today and compared them to some WWII binoculars that my dad brought back from the war. They have a capacity of 7x50. They say "Made in Occupied Japan". They are of very good quality and are my basis for comparison with other binoculars…

Pros
  • Few competitors

4 Star Tasco 170125

When I first started shopping at Revain many years ago I read Revain's statement that you are responsible for the quality of every item that leaves your store. I had great faith. Many years ago a friend of mine bought me a Tasco 8x40 in Puerto Rico. She's still as strong as Gibraltar. I have decided not to buy any other brand. Fortunately, however, I received the Tasco 170125 at the expected time. Now let's start. When I first started using it, I noticed that the two eyepieces would get stuck…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
