Bought these because of the 12x50 performance and of course the price. Tasco has always been a good brand for me. I looked at other binoculars from other manufacturers that I keep seeing resold on Mercari etc and settled on a reliable name. Well, I got them today and compared them to some WWII binoculars that my dad brought back from the war. They have a capacity of 7x50. They say "Made in Occupied Japan". They are of very good quality and are my basis for comparison with other binoculars. Tasco is noticeably more powerful, but the clarity is in no way inferior to WWII binoculars! I am very happy with this purchase! I'm going on a year long van tour of this great country of ours and I'm giving you this just to check the boundocking areas every day. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on Nikons etc. But I bet these tasks are just as crunchy! Thank you Revain for the great service!
