I won't lie - I had no idea what to expect from this, but I "thought" of a scalp exfoliating treatment. That's exactly how it is - cleaning and scrubbing at the same time. I don't like it, but it's more my preference than anything particularly wrong with the product. I notice that my hair "lifts" a bit with use and seems to stay fresher for longer. No big deal, just not for me. (But I like the idea of a scalp scrub).

I have to admit I'm really impressed with Taya's products so far. This is the second product I've tried and I really like it. This shampoo is fantastic. The incredible smell is noticed for the first time when shampooing. It's pink with black balls inside, I have no idea what it is. They are small, the seeds are larger. Where I live it can get a bit humid and give me occasional scalp problems. It was hard to find a shampoo that not only cleans my hair but also exfoliates my scalp. I assumed there was no such thing until I tried it. I am very happy with the results after application. My scalp is so much better after just one use. Since I was 40 I have noticed that my hair needs a little strengthening to make it more voluminous and hydrated. As stated in the product description for this shampoo, it uses a blend of coconut water and raw coconut fiber to gently cleanse and exfoliate the scalp while moisturizing and adding body, volume and shine to dry and dehydrated, limp hair. This is a very different shampoo than my standard shampoo. The fibers in it act like a body scrub, but on the scalp. For me it didn't scratch or irritate my scalp but did help remove buildup of product. This shampoo doesn't have a lot of lather, again not a problem but unlike many products I've used. I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for a few years now and my hair just loves it. It makes my hair springy and bouncy, doesn't weigh it down like other products I've used and smells nice.
