Not all included in thread repair kits

Picture shows 4 connectors (2 of each type). The kit only had 1 connector of each type, making it unusable for my application.

Pros
  • Allows for easy replacement of damaged individual wires
Cons
  • Off mode

Is working. (Tip in test)

The product itself is of very good quality and will outperform most OEM and outdoor applications. However, one thing is that if the kit had to be taken apart, reassembly could become difficult when the boots need to be put on. In my case after messing with 2 of these kits I found that the dish soap (without water) in the trunk would work as a great lube and make the build smooth.

Pros
  • Includes components needed for HEI or outlet splitters and coil head assembly
Cons
  • Defects

The quality of the product is great, it just didn't do what I wanted.

Good quality, just not what I wanted. I was hoping to use a straight boot on my hat, but only the beveled ends fit. A straight version for smaller diameter fittings would be nice. If you want to make your own cables, you need to have the right crimping tool. I got along with careful use of pliers, but no better.

Pros
  • Wire diameter 8 mm
Cons
  • Negative impression
