The thermometer is the best in instant read

A sharp object that pierces various types of meat to determine the internal temperature. Needed to prevent various foodborne diseases. Wife says it really brings the kitchen together.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Some bugs

Works great - kitchen and dining room

Simple design, easy to use. I use mine to calibrate my oven temperature. It seems accurate - other times when I use it the meat cooks right or the cake is perfect. He is reliable and tough.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Expensive

Quality Digital Thermometer

I have several of these thermometers and this one has some good qualities. It comes with a very well built rubber jacket and what I like best is that it will turn off automatically if the temperature stays the same for a certain amount of time. This allows me to keep it on without having to manually turn it off to save battery.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Reliability

Don't use silicone lid

Never had the chance to use or test it as the silicone lid ruined the item. I put the lid on and after a few days of using it for the first time, the silicone lid was very difficult to remove. When it finally came loose, he ripped off the top of the real thermometer and ripped out the wires, rendering it unusable.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

It's definitely not "instant "

It takes a long time to register the actual temperature. Unfortunately, this time is not always suitable for grilling. If you're trying to measure the internal temperature of something, it's slow to rise as it registers heat. It can take a full minute for you to finally calm down. My last Taylor was great and lasted many years. It's a piece of junk.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Functionality

Great but I need a frothing cup clip

I like the digital display. Note, however, that when frothing milk there is still a lag between the temperature of the heated milk and the reading. Much quicker and easier to read than the Cooper-Atkins 1236-70 dial indicator I first bought though. I used the cup clip that came with the cooper to keep the thermometer in the cup while frothing, that should be it

Pros
  • . Alright!
Cons
  • A few little things

Excellent temperature sensor

Excellent sensor for reading the temperature of water, refrigerator and many other items. The manufacturer claims that it can measure between -40 and 302 degrees Fahrenheit or -40 to 160 degrees Celsius. For all mathematicians, -40 is the only temperature where Fahrenheit and Celsius are equal. Attention! It is not designed to measure body temperature as the end of the probe is sharp and can seriously injure you.

Pros
  • Easy adjustment
Cons
  • Periodicity

They are very easy to use

I have tried many instant read thermometers and this is by far the easiest to use. It's also the most durable as I've had it for several years with no issues. Most other brands broke pretty quickly after I received them. They're easy to use even if you're unfamiliar with them, and you can use the included chart to get temperature information. I also like that they read in Celsius or Fahrenheit. I like the digital display, so no assumptions about moderate.

Pros
  • understand even the old ones
Cons
  • expensive insurance
