There is nothing special about these scales. Batteries are included, which is a plus. It's lightweight and easy to move. I don't know how accurate it is because it always shows 4 pounds more than the weights at my gym. In addition, the red numbers on a black background are not easy to read. This is exactly what I wanted in a scale. It was easy to set up and use, and even came with batteries that needed to be installed before use. I pressed the button on the back to set the pounds and stepped on it and it worked and gave me an accurate reading. It looks simple but effective enough for me. One of the best features is the top handle. This is a basic pen on a very normal scale, but I find this feature very useful. Good scale for the price.

This sounds weird but I needed a scale to weigh my fowl. That's great. I can put a light cardboard box on the scale and put the bird in it and subtract the weight of the box, some birds are calm enough to sit on and then the antimicrobial surface is great when they poop on it.
