Works well but needs regular replacement

System works well when properly installed. It protects the boat's lid from water accumulation. The collected water puts undue stress on the cover, leading to its rupture and failure. Unfortunately, the nylon straps in the Taylor Made retention system wear out over time, causing them to fail. One day you will find that the straps have failed and water has accumulated on the lid, sometimes causing the lid to fail. There is no way of knowing when the belts are about to fail, so I recommend…

Works well and is inexpensive, plan on using extra poles on larger boats.

I have this to help with our boat cover. It's really easy to set up and I use it every time I cover my boat. Basically loop the lines around the front, connect to the bar, push the back lines down, pull tight and that's it. The only downside is that I wouldn't go too long. Not the highest quality but mine was thick enough and on our boat for about a month and no problems. Note I have yet to use the two bars under the cover or our boat will still have water pooling in the center front and rear…

This simple kit will help keep water out of your boat and prevent it from pooling as easily as without the high rise in the middle. Nothing seems perfect in this world, and this is no exception to that rule: even if you have two straps in each direction, you'll most likely still end up with a little puddle in the middle. and when you pull the straps closer to stop the middle puddle. yes, you guessed it, then there will be a puddle on each side of the middle. So you'll need to add extra support…

it fits perfectly over the straps and I found it ok

This product is complete rubbish! I attached it to my boat and attached all the straps to make sure it would fit. At first everything looked fine. When I went to put the boat cover on it fit perfectly over the straps and I found it ok. I went to the stern of the boat and saw that the lid was sagging. I looked at the straps and saw that they were not attached to the stern of the boat. The straps were torn from the plastic hooks that attach them to the stern of the boat. Nylon straps were…
