Not even a year has passed

The thermometer is slowly showing the final temperature. It didn't even last a year. No longer shows temperature. upset.

I had the red version of the weekend warrior and loved it but the battery door broke. I bought this one thinking it would be the same but in a different color but I was wrong. This is a professional thermometer. Bigger, much stronger. The backlight is bright and the display is easy to read. This is a very durable and fast responding thermometer. I assume this will last for many years.

Surprisingly no trash!

Based on stock photos and inconclusive reviews I was expecting the worst. To my surprise, it's not cheap at all. The tip tapers the last 1/2 inch or so into a sharp skewer that's great for grilled meats. The quality is well above what you would expect from a kitchen tool and is comparable to an industrial tool. The only criticism is that the backlight only comes on for 10 seconds. I've used it for instant hot water and found that it can stabilize from 72° to 177° in about 10 seconds. It took my
