This is normal but not suitable for closing 3 1/4 exit as promised in the difference. I had to glue it on but since it was only a dollar and what I needed was behind the couch I think it deserves 3 stars.

Great! The hole spacing is 2.75 inches (or 2 3/4 inches). It fits perfectly and closes the box on the ceiling just the way I needed it. No more exposed wires and wire nuts! a little texture on it and it feels solid in the hand. If that's what you're looking for, buy with confidence.

Bought as a temporary cover for a 4" round ceiling box that I will eventually install a fan in. The screw holes in the cover do not match the holes in the electrical box. I ended up at a hardware store and bought a plastic cap for less than half the price of the metal cap.

Last year we got central air conditioning and never used ceiling fans in any of our rooms again. These were the perfect covers for old working ceiling fan electrical boxes. Some areas around the boxes were chipped a bit and these panels covered the whole area and then I painted over them to match the ceiling. Exactly what we needed!
