Good quality the best in metering valves

A necessary tool for brake self-modification/bleeding. Definitely an item to have in your arsenal when working on vehicle braking systems.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

The Best Way to Properly Bleed a Chevy Brake

I have never used one of these and have had trouble bleeding the brake system. I did it in 10 minutes with this and the stopping power is amazing after changing the rear disc brakes.

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • Operating Speed

Dispensing valves overpriced

It did what was advertised but the $15 price tag is too high. There were cheaper options, too, but they cost over $15 with shipping. I mean it's a smelly piece of plastic. This is one of those hit products. I needed it so I bought it. Sale at half price.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly

Didn't work for me

I screwed this tool into my dispensing valve as tight as I could. I pumped up the brake system and fluid began to flow out from under this tool. I noticed that the brake light switch I removed to install this tool had an o-ring where it didn't. I will NOT be using this again without putting an o-ring on it. Maybe that will stop the leak?

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Volume

Works great, must have a GM style metering valve tool

Works great, I lost the tool that came with my kit. Ordered, it came quickly and the needle didn't break like people that others have problems with. It's plastic although I thought it was metal, but the stitching is solid no matter what. I recommend using gravity pumping before pump breaks to pump fully. I'm not sure if this is necessary, but it reduces the stress on the stylus.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Overpriced and couldn't get the job done.

This product looks like it's made of metal, but it's actually made of plastic. It worked fine when bleeding the rear drum brakes, but when bleeding the front discs the valve would not stay in place. If it was aluminum I would see it cost that much, but for a small piece of plastic it's probably only about $4. Wouldn't recommend it. Do a little research and find a metal item or find something else that will get the job done. Don't waste your $.

There was no way to see how it works. Broke in seconds.

This very expensive little piece of plastic made from billet aluminum dropped from waist height onto the concrete floor and the main part of the tool broke off. The material is extremely fragile. They should have used Delrin instead of toy-level plastic. What plastic object doesn't survive a three foot fall? Especially if it is a "tool". I definitely don't recommend buying this if you're looking for a long-term addition to your toolbox. he will break

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Nothing
