Does its job best in the sports department

Does its job on a 16 inch binder. It may need to be fixed at a slight forward angle to allow the bike to lean properly on the stand, which I did. Or a short length could be filed from below. Assembly is also easy: loosen the axle nut, mount the footrest and tighten the axle nut again.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • It's ok

Difficult to put on - cycling

Unfortunately this footrest didn't hook the bike properly. After setting "just right" everything is fine, but for some reason it's loose and moving and I still don't get the hang of it. We're going to try a few different ways to keep it fixed and I'll update what works. Hoping something will happen.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Great price

Had to buy another style

Fits on the frame's SIDE rail next to the rear wheel. No matter how many times I adjusted and reinstalled, it wasn't stable enough to hold the bike. He always stood on the tiny tip of his foot and the bike fell over. I ended up getting one that fits right under the seat, behind the pedal assembly.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine

Easy to install, doesn't work

My son decided he was ready to learn to ride a bike without training wheels. I was looking for a stand so his bike wouldn't keep falling to the ground. This stand had promising reviews, so I decided to give it a try. It was easy to install, but it doesn't hold up the bike. It is on the rear wheel and the bike keeps tipping over. I would not recommend this item.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Works well on a 14 " bike. Just a word of advice.

Works well on my 4 year old 14" bike. Attaches to the rear wheel. Easy to use. Supports the bike well ride. The only advice I have for the installation is that when attaching to the rear bar, when you re-tighten the bolts, pull the bar as far as you can and stretch the chain as much as you can Reassemble and loosen chain, your chain will start to crack (without lowering the star count as this is the installer's fault and this happens no matter what type of stand you buy).

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Negative result available
