Unreliable and Overpriced

Based on our own experience, this product is a complete waste of money. It constantly malfunctions and fails to perform its basic functions. The only pro is its sleek design, but that's not enough to justify the price. The major con is the lack of reliability, which makes it useless for any serious project. Do not recommend!

Pros
  • Easy to use with both Arduino and Raspberry Pi
Cons
  • Limited compatibility with other microcontroller boards

Excellent 4*4 matrix keyboard

Very easy to use. Works fine with Arduino and Raspberry Pi. In the Arduino IDE, use the following lines of code and the Keypad.h library and you're done. // connects to Arduino pin colPins[COLS] = {8,7,6,5}; // connects to the pinout of Arudino

Pros
  • Computers and accessories
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Simple 4x4 Keyboard for Single Board Computer

Bought this keyboard for an Arduino project. Worked great with the Arduino keyboard library sample "CustomKeypad.ino". The keyboard has separate tactile switches as shown. The 8 interface pins require female/male jumpers to connect to the Arduino headers or breadboard.

Pros
  • Single Board Computer
Cons
  • Upgradeable
