Confusing product description

I'm giving this product 3 stars because everyone said it would fit my 2017 Dodge Journey, but that's not true. This only applies to LED taillights! She didn't have mine. There should be a clearer description of the subject.

Easy to install and operate

Kurt's second suspension just failed on my 2013 Dodge Journey. The Tekonsha harness fits perfectly. The side wiring was long enough to not need tensioners. That works great. I hope he keeps working.

Works as it should

Parts are fine and installation was easy. Good luck trying to get to the battery on your Dodge Journey! Finally I connected it to the battery and it works as it should. The many scrapes and cuts on my hands trying to reach the battery will heal over time.

Good product, installation may take a little longer if you're not a mechanic

After I installed all this and tied everything to the machine, everything worked perfectly! Everything fits well, easy to install but it might take longer than they say, usually I think they said it might take about 1 hour. Took me about an hour and a half, maybe two hours from start to finish, just using the ramps.

Warning This only applies to LED systems.

This review is bad because Revain promised it would fit in my car. I bought it this spring and decided not to stop until fall. Judging by the wording and photos this will work so I left it on a shelf in the garage and now want to install it. Unfortunately, this only works for a vehicle with LED lighting and a return date that is in the past.

High quality clutch!

Good price, you won't find cheaper anywhere! This is a great quality towbar. Installation wasn't easy, but not particularly difficult. Moving the exhaust pipe was the hardest part. However, this cannot be bypassed. Instead of connecting the module to the battery and messing around with all those wires, we disconnected the brake light and connected it to a power source. That saved some time.

I've never done anything like this, it's not difficult at all and it works GREAT! ONLY for LED taillights!

I originally ordered a non-LED T-connector from Kurt as Revane suggested it would fit my 2013 Dodge Journey. This is not the case (I have LED taillights). Curt was MUCH easier to install once fitted and I was a bit overwhelmed by the complexity of this kit as I had never done anything like this before. But I have to say that the whole process went pretty smoothly. Tip: Before you begin, go to your local hardware store and buy branched flexible tubing to wrap the wires around. Trust me, buy big,
