Gray plug in external accessory

I'm trying to find a gray plug for my 2017 Ridgeline. Need more information and photos. I took off all the covers and touched all the wires, but there is no "gray" connector.

Pros
  • Stop/turn circuit, capacity 4.2A
Cons
  • Available in white only

Good product! The instructions could have been better.

There is only one picture in the instructions where the module is mounted and the 12-pin connector is not visible! I did some research "online" by removing the back seat upholstery on the driver's seat to find two green relays. They are attached to the cabin wall. The 12-pin vehicle tow connector is located to the right and slightly above the green relays. I found it behind the insulation on the back wall of the cab and it had enough cable slack to pull the module out and attach it. After that,

Pros
  • 16 gauge stranded wire with 4 pole flat plug and play system
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Doesn't work fully.

All functions do not work, very strange. The parking lights on the trailer do not work, but the brake lights and direction indicators work. Trailer lights work properly when connected to another vehicle. What could be the problem? Follow up: I contacted Tekonsha customer service and received no help. I fixed the problem with an additional 20 amp fuse that was not provided or mentioned in the instructions. My conversation partner was rather "dry” and taciturn, I would say, not a very sociable…

Pros
  • No cutting, splicing or wrapping car cables
Cons
  • Nothing
