Completely sealed breakaway switch. Automatically set trailer brakes in case of accidental trailer breakaway. Required by law in some states. Emergency use only, not to be used to lock brakes when parked or stored. All metal parts and a brass pin assembly.

A Must-Hav​e for Trailers

This breakaway switch gives peace of mind while towing. The installation is straightforward and only takes a few minutes, making it an excellent addition to any automotive enthusiast's collection. Solid construction and reliability ensure that you never have to worry about it faltering. The only downside is the price, which is on the higher end, but it’s worth it for the overall quality and safety it provides.

Nice Solid Switch

I used this switch to turn on the animated prop in the cowboy action shooting scene. I liked that the body of the switch is metal, so it's more resistant to shot or bullet fragments. The switch survived three days of use without any problems.
