TEKTON 2944 Offset Screwdriver 3 Piece Review

I liked the size and the look of the product. However, when I used them, the heads of the screwdrivers sheared off a bit. They weren't strong enough to turn the bolts by hand without damaging the tool. The heads felt fragile and were made of softer metal.

I bought these for a specific job I wanted to do on my truck. I bet on Tekton tools a little over a year ago and am glad I did. I am very impressed with the quality of Tekton and now when I need to replace some old tools or just need a specific tool Tekton is the first tool I turn to for this need.

Almost bought this item after reading negative reviews. I tried removing one of the sewing machine screws from the needle plate but to no avail. After a few days of trying, frustrated, I bought this one. It took me two seconds to remove the same screw. I can't believe how easy it was to remove this screw with this tool. It was easy. I am very glad that I bought this tool.

I love a good ratchet screwdriver as much as anyone, but we all know the pitfall of a ratchet that makes turning a screw so easy we risk locking the screw tilt, and, in my case, often do. They are perfect when you need to turn a screw a little to tighten it when that screw enters a tight space. Es is always handy to have on hand in tight spots where even a short screwdriver can't reach, as in our case where the screws holding the ceiling fan blades to the metal brackets bolt to the rotating part just above the lighting assembly are what else should come off (the fan makes random clicking noises and I wanted to reattach the blades with small bits of felt between the metal and wood to see if that would eliminate the noise - it didn't.)
