🔧 TEKTON 15-Piece 1/2 Inch Drive 6-Point Socket Set (10-24 mm), SHD92102 Review

I'm impressed. These have held up very well. I am a farm/heavy equipment technician and have used this kit to tighten wheel bolts on tractors and utility loaders, install and remove grain augers and tillage implements and they have not failed or lost their chrome chip. jumps into the back of my service van and still runs like new.

Needed a set of 1/2" metric hex sockets to put in the tool box. They were perfect for my needs. I really like the design of the rail for mounting sockets; where they rotate to lock onto the rail. My Craftsman set has spring clips on the rails and the bushings are falling out of my tool box and I have to search for them. If I had to completely redo my tool kit I would buy a complete set of these for discs of all sizes.

Bought these to carry around in my jeep. I wanted good quality but didn't want to spend a lot of money. I have used many sockets and I am very satisfied. They are of high quality. I especially like the holder. This allows me to use them in the jeep as they stay in order and are easy to follow. I have much better heads that I would use for very high torque. But for 90% of the work they are suitable and last forever. You just can't abuse them and they will work just fine.

I'm getting older and the old 3/8" set doesn't fit anymore. Even for routine jobs I need the leverage of my large 1/2" ratchet. This six point set is well made, appears to be very durable and has a full set of heads from very small to large. It comes in a VERY GOOD MADE storage pin supplied which is almost too difficult to remove from the sockets it's cute because they won't fall that's probably just me along with my new breaker I just got should be in good shape.

I wanted to give them 5 stars. But the manufacturer did not deserve this, judging by all the goods that he sent me, that is, sockets and socket holders. The main product is sockets, and they're pretty cute. For that I would give them 5 stars. The plastic strips of socket holders are actually a problem and almost dangerous to use. Removing all 23 sockets from these holders required using a large screwdriver to pry each socket out of the holder. And believe me, it wasn't easy! It took so much…

Like other Tekton tools I have purchased they are of excellent quality. Heavy chrome, well finished, easy to read markings, just great value for money. I would rate them as a "Consumer" product, better than my 25 year old American Craftsman.Now. On to David M and his debacle (literally and figuratively) of the included storage instructions. He complains that it is very difficult to pry the bushings off the rail with a large screwdriver. That, my friend, is because they are turn-to-lock rails…
