3rd Gen Cummins 5.9 - 29mm

If you are looking for a fuel filter port on your Cummins 5.9 then great. Be sure to get 29mm for the 3rd gen, I believe 6.7 is 28mm.

Tekton is good stuff

I needed a fuel filter outlet on my 2018 Ram Cummins and it fits just right. I've always been impressed with Tekron tools. Most of my tools are truck tools but I'm happy with them at a much lower price.

Quality head

Bought this head for a recent ball joint replacement on a Grand Cherokee. Supported until the pry bar is machined during removal. I can't speak for durability in everyday professional use, but it meets my requirements for a weekend screwdriver.

Not suitable for commercially available powered ratchets or extensions.

Addendum says it's a 1/2" disc. It didn't fit any I had, the fitting had burrs and jagged edges. I had to sand and file to get closer. Then I pulled in a 2" extension to get the job done. There was no need to do all of this and sacrifice the extension for something new. I think a half inch is different in Taiwan.

Affordable and efficient!

I mainly use this for the fuel filter canister cap in the engine bay of my Ram 2500 Cummins. It fits great and offers a good buy on a cap. The risk of damaging the plastic cover is minimal thanks to the 6-point construction. I haven't tried applying a lot of torque to this bushing, so I can't speak of its ultimate strength. However, it is well made and looks very high quality.

Unfortunately I never got the right size.

It looked good and the price was right but the size was 28mm in the description and 35mm in the title but the size was right and the name was wrong. Some attempts to fix this have not worked. So if you still see 28mm next to "Size" that's probably what you're getting. I have several Tekton socket sets that are fine so I expect this one to be good but as size matters, it's important to put the right moment in the listing and because it's wrong it's rated so poorly. This has happened to me twice…
