6-point socket opening provides an ideal, exact fit for hex-shaped fastener heads. Socket geometry is designed to apply force to flat sides of fasteners and not the corners, preventing round-off. Deep-length sockets reach into wells and accommodate the excess threads of longer shafts. Extra-large die-stamped size markings are easy to read and can’t wear off. Polished, chrome-plated finish easily wipes clean and is highly resistant to corrosion.

A Durable and Reliable Socket

As an automotive enthusiast, I am always on the lookout for hand tools that are durable and reliable. As a result of my tests, I determined that this 6 point socket exceeded my expectations.It easily fits onto my wrench and provides a secure grip on even the most stubborn bolts. The chrome finish is top-notch and doesn`t wear off after repeated use. However the socket CAN be a little too tight on some bolts, making it tough to remove. Tekton is now my favorite tool brand

I've been buying Tekton tools (wrenches and sockets) since Sears went out of business and I stopped buying Craftsman. Great tools at a good price. Customer support is also very good if you ever have an issue with the tool.
