Description of πŸ”§ TEKTON 3/8 Inch Drive x T25 Torx Bit Socket: Durable and Precise SHB14225

S2 steel bit is press-fit into the socket for a straight, permanent connection that can't loosen over time. Star-shaped Torx bit has 6-lobes machined to precise tolerances for an exact, high-torque fit that resists camming out. Large, clear die-stamped size marking is easy to read and can’t wear off. Four detent grooves provide a secure connection with the drive tool and a drilled through-hole allows locking on with retaining pin. Polished, chrome-plated finish easily wipes clean and is highly resistant to corrosion. Beveled inner rim of the socket opening helps guide it smoothly onto fasteners. Overall Length: 1.9 in. Shaft Diameter: 0.25 in. Drive End Diameter: 0.8 in. Exposed Bit Length: 0.8 in.

Disappointing Quality, Not Worth the Purchase

As an automotive enthusiast, I was skeptical about the price of this product but decided to give it a shot. Through trial and error, I found that the sockets easily strip the Torx surface and make it difficult to complete any task. The only positive aspect was the size variety. However, with such poor quality, it's not worth the investment. I regret making this purchase and would not recommend to other automotive professionals.

Pros
  • High-quality material ensures durability and long-lasting use.
Cons
  • Skimpy instruction

100% Quality - Power & Hand Tools

This thing is solid. I used it to pry open a rusty rear brake caliper on a Chrysler 200 that hadn't been factory touched in about 7 years and it worked great. πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Pros
  • Torx Torx bit has 6 blades machined to exacting tolerances for high torque precision that won't slip out
Cons
  • Appearance

I have the standard height version of this.

Screws from T47 for fastening the seat belt. I'll see how this T50 holds up compared to the last Craftsman chrome that bit it. Now I only use break bars and still you can break the hammer drill on those big bolts once the corrosion starts.

Pros
  • The beveled inner edge of the socket opening helps guide it smoothly onto the fasteners.
Cons
  • protection.
