I was looking for different hand tools to replace the ones I had when someone stole my tool box. I found that the Texton brand might not be as good as Snap-On, but they are at least 5x cheaper with a no-hassle guarantee. The outlet that the outlets were attached to is half the price alone. The chrome was good and the size was wide and well marked. Fit was great. They are great for removing engine bolts. I intend to purchase more Texton tools in the near future.

Got my set today, they are really good socket wrenches on a serious track. The reviewer who said bad things about the splint doesn't know how they work - you turn the socket 1/4 turn counter-clockwise and the socket immediately slips off - put it on, turn it 2/4 turn im clockwise and fasten firmly. I just received these sockets and to be honest haven't used them but they look great and judging by some of the other Tekton tools I have I expect so not any problems. They appear to be well made and the chrome and engraving look really nice. I usually buy more expensive brands but I don't think they get much use. The bad thing is that the sockets can hardly be removed from the holder without tools. I could barely remove the sockets by hand, and the guy I worked with couldn't even get one for…
