🔧 TEKTON 1/4 Inch Drive Composite Quick-Release Ratchet, 5-Inch Length - 1456 Review

Looks and feels very robust. Curiously, mine was branded "Ronix" by an Israeli instrument company. The other two 1/4 and 3/4 wrenches I bought were Tekton brand. A little annoying but I'm sure it's the exact same product. Couldn't find anything about this anywhere else online so I'm a bit confused. I could hardly find out who Roniks was. Rschunimagu.

At first I wasn't satisfied with the length of these ratchets. They're all pretty short. But after using them a bit I find them very useful, especially in situations where it's better to use less leverage. I like everything else about them. They definitely have a place in my everyday work. I'm increasingly finding that I don't always need a long ratchet as it gets in the way, and I don't always need extra leverage. They also feel good in the hand.

Purchased to use on the release clamps for my pool backwash hose. I like to have one outside in my pool closet instead of going to the garage every time. It serves its purpose well. It's much lighter than my Craftsman and S•K ratchets. The grip is a bit thicker than most, but it's great for my larger hands. It still moves easily in my pocket as I walk around the garden. So far I am satisfied and will buy more.
