Easy adjustment and light weight.

The double ended cable clamp screw on them allows you differential control for left/right centering of your cantilever brakes. In my opinion, this makes them a little better than the old Dia Compe style ones.

More brakes please see Bike Brakes & Parts

I have changed a few things on my brakes on my motocross bike, the first being the triangle and cables. It seems to have better stopping power than the stock equipment that came with my enthusiastic Shorty 4 brake kit. I also lowered the cable stop from the stem to the fork mount, which I heard would help with front end wobble under hard braking. . In fact, the cable stop interferes with the height adjustment and thus the mechanical translation of the brake and reduces it somewhat. I still love

Nice triangular cable holder

This is a cute little holder that looks a lot better than the typical cheap stamped aluminum cable holders that come with many center pull brakes, especially old school center pull calipers. I was happy. To find out that you can actually move the old school center, pull the double ended cable down from the top of the triangle as you remove and then reinsert the cable coupler. This holder looks a lot better and being a bit wider than the old perforated holders it gives you a little more powerโ€ฆ

Works perfectly. Short instructions would be nice

I sold an old bike here with a broken rear brake cable in the center link. I had a bit of a problem deciding where the main cable should go through the connection point as it is different from the original (and front). I also believe there is a way to cut the extra cord so it doesn't get tangled. how it was for me Maybe tape the area and cut the tape? However, I couldn't attach the small end, so all I had to do was wrap tape around it. A quick guide will help those of us who are not experienced

Simple and easy to assemble

I got this because I was paranoid that my standard brake caliper would let go of the cable while riding and turn me upside down. This was the case when the broken wire connecting the two brakes was just up against the open bracket and there was a chance it could let go mid-ride and instantly lock the front wheel (albeit a small chance). Either way, this holder is reassuring. I fear this will happen as the brake cable is now triangulated and cannot fall off the bracket. All the parts are of good
