We needed a splitter as our new printer only had one input and no phone line output to run a fax. Since we use our regular phone line for both calling and faxing, we also need an electrical outlet. This splitter works great. And we got a replacement part as it came in a 2 pack.

This product does not work. I tried just plugging it into the wall to be able to plug in the fax too. I didn't expect to use both lines at the same time. There was such a loud noise that the fax couldn't send anything. Due to health reasons, it was not returned in time. :(

The splitter is reliable and I expect it to work for many years. We needed to connect a fax machine and still use the fax line as a second line in our two-line cordless phone system.
