Description of Digital Programmable PID Temperature Controller with Meter Indicator, Jaybva Universal Thermostat Fahrenheit and Celsius Display SSR and Alarm Output, Includes 25A Solid State Relay and Thermocouple Probe

Dual LED Display: This PID temperature controller can read TEMPS in Fahrenheit (F) and Celsius(C) . You can choose Centigrade or Fahrenheit unit . TC/RTD universal input , such as K , J , E , Pt100 etc. SSR solid state relay output . Dual Output: 7 different Dual Output combinations with 1 relayed output and 1 SSR control voltage output. This temperature controller has built in autotuning . After you have set your temps you press and hold the blue button for a few seconds and the AT light will come on and run through an auto tuning program to get you the best PID results. Wide Application: This pid controller is widely used in auto system in line of light industry, chemistry, machinary , metallurgy, ceramics, pertrification industry, or temperature control and adjust system of food & beverage, smoker , incubator, oven; furnance, plastic extruder heating process etc.

I liked it The customer didn't!

I've been using them in industry and military for 30 years, they work great but I'm used to tuning, auto-tuning and maintaining them. The customer, on the other hand, found it too complicated and wanted to know why he couldn't pair it with his phone. Generation Z head! Take their phone away from them and they will stop breathing! So I have to send it back but if it was for me I would keep it. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5!

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Poor performance

Simplified: test, measure and verify

Although I'm new to PID, this one is the easiest to understand as the instructions are written more clearly and autotune you just set it up and forget it! It also has the ability to do all the other things that I don't understand yet, but I'll be able to as I know more and hook it up when needed! Pretty simple concept that could turn into brain frying science which to me is like brain surgery to the average person!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Null

It works fine, auto tune works fine but for some reason it freezes.

PID autotuning can be started at a close setpoint for quick autotuning. The low voltage output of this model from a controller rated at 40 amps SSR is well above the 25 amp electric oven (both elements) and 220 volts well under power, but later stuck with a maximum starting current of 25 amps on heating and stopped not on also over 400d F. There was no short circuit and the controller works, it was 220 VAC and hang. Not so good in a dueling oven that can reach over 900 degrees Fahrenheit.

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Useless functions

Does the job: Temperature controller

If anyone is having trouble understanding the instructions, here's what I put together and what I set up for the heating element. USP = Upper setpoint LSP = Lower setpoint of HY1 and HY2 Hysteresis - How far can the temperature go, e.g. B.: set temp to 100 and HY to 1 and it won't adjust until temp reaches 102DP - decimal point Scy - lock - skip this PuF - adjust for offset tempInp - input TypeP - proportional band, adjust intervals, on 1I leave - Inverval, 540x per second - Derivative…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Nothing here

What's not to love?

works. The only thing I could ask for is another page of instructions explaining in more detail how to set up the software. For example, the pulse width modulation period is short, about 1 second. This is good in systems with an electrical resistance heater controlled by a built-in solid state relay. Other loads such as B. a motor, but can perform better with slower shifting. Such geeky software details are not explained in the 2 pages of included instructions. That's a great price at $30.

Pros
  • temperature and humidity
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

SSR was DOA. The control worked for 4 hours

Everything connected. The solid state relay did not work. Even tried to disable the control input. I didn't plug it in during the return period, but it's still under warranty. Jaibwa offered to replace it in 20 days or give me $10. I took $10 and bought the SSR for $19. Plugged in and everything worked fine, 4 hours then the controller died. I don't think these devices even come close to the advertised values. The original SSR was rated at 40 amps. I had about 19 amps. The controller is…

Pros
  • Control, measurement and inspection
Cons
  • Very expensive

Works - test, measure and verify

In case anyone is having trouble understanding the instructions, here is what I assembled and installed for the heating element. USP = Upper Set Point LSP = Lower Set Point of HY1 and HY2 Hysteresis – How far the temperature can go, for example: set the temperature to 100 and HY to 1 and it won't adjust until the temperature reaches 102 DP – Decimal point Scy – Latch - skip itPuF - set temperature offsetInp - enter TypeP - proportional band, interval setting, leave at 1I - Inverval, 540x per…
