Description of 🌡️ Universal Digital PID Temperature Controller Meter Indicator with C/F Display, SSR Alarm Output, 40A Solid State Relay, and Thermocouple Probe with Heat Sink - Jaybva

Contents included: Temperature controller , one 40A SSR / solid state relay , one K type thermocouple sensor probe , one heat sink ( Heat sink size: Roof: 50mm x 60mm ; Foot: 80mm x 50mm ; Height: 50mm). This PID temperature controller can read TEMPS in Fahrenheit (F) and Celsius(C) . You can choose Centigrade or Fahrenheit unit . Wide Application: This pid controller is widely used in auto system in line of light industry, chemistry, machinary , metallurgy, ceramics, pertrification industry, or temperature control and adjust system of food & beverage, smoker , incubator, oven; furnance, plastic extruder heating process etc. TC/RTD universal input , such as K , J , E , Pt100 etc. SSR solid state relay output . Dual Output: 7 different Dual Output combinations with 1 relayed output and 1 SSR control voltage output. This temperature controller has built in autotuning . After you have set the temps , press and hold the blue button for a few seconds and the AT light will come on and run through an auto tuning program to get you the best PID results.

It works fine, auto tune works fine but for some reason it freezes.

PID autotuning at once can be started from near setpoint for fast autotuning. The output of this low voltage model from a controller rated at 40 amp SSR is well above the 25 amp electric oven (both elements) and 220 volts well under power, but later stalls with a maximum starting current of 25 amps on heating and would did not stop even above 400d F. There was no short circuit and the controller worked, it was 220 VAC and stuck. Not so good in a dueling oven that can reach over 900 degrees…

Pros
  • Universal TC/RTD input such as K, J, E, Pt100 etc. SSR solid state relay output.
Cons
  • High price

Does the job - test, measure and verify

If anyone is having trouble understanding the instructions, here is what I put together and what I set for the heating element. USP = Upper setpoint LSP = Lower setpoint of HY1 and HY2 Hysteresis - How far can the temperature go, e.g. B.: set temp to 100 and HY to 1 and it won't adjust until temp reaches 102DP - decimal point Scy - lock - skip this PuF - adjust for offset tempInp - input TypeP - proportional band, adjust intervals, on 1I leave - Inverval, 540x per second - Derivative…

Pros
  • This temperature PID controller can read TEMPS values in degrees Fahrenheit (F) and Celsius (C). You can choose units in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Wide Application: This PID controller is widely used in automotive systems in light industry, chemical, machinery, metallurgy, ceramics and pertrification industries, as well as in temperature control and adjustment systems for food and beverage, smokers, incubators and ovens . Oven, plastic extruder heating process, etc.
Cons
  • Slightly torn

What's not to love?

It works. The only thing I could ask for is another page of instructions explaining in more detail how to install the software. For example, the pulse width modulation period is short, about 1 second. This is good in systems with an electrical resistance heater controlled by a built-in solid state relay. Other loads such as B. a motor, but can perform better with slower shifting. Such geeky software details are not explained in the 2 pages of included instructions. That's a great price at $30.

Pros
  • Industry and Science
Cons
  • Not sure

SSR was DOA. The controller took 4 hours

I connected everything. The solid state relay did not work. Even tried to disable the control input. I didn't plug it in during the return period, but it's still under warranty. Jaibwa offered to replace it in 20 days or give me $10. I took $10 and bought the SSR for $19. Plugged in and everything worked fine, 4 hours then the controller died. I don't think these devices even come close to the advertised values. The original SSR was rated at 40 amps. I had about 19 amps. The controller is…

Does the work of temperature and humidity

If anyone is having trouble understanding the instructions, here is what I put together and what I set for the heating element. USP = High Setpoint LSP = Low Setpoint HY1 and HY2 hysteresis - how far can the temperature go, e.g. this PuF - Adjust for time offset Inp - Input TypeP - Proportional band, adjust intervals, leave at 1I - Inverval, 540x per second - Derivative - predicts future requirements. Out - Heat or ColdHys - Set to 1, not used when using Derivative-Ctl - Set to 1 for digital…

Pros
  • Temperature and humidity
Cons
  • Some little things
