Great thermocouple!

They work very well, my oven is too hot for them and they end up melting, but if I keep the temp below 2900F they last the full cycle and a little longer. There's probably a way to protect them better so they last longer, solid fuels are really tough on them. I know others with gas crucible ovens that last many cycles.

There's probably a way to protect them better so they last longer, solid fuels are really tough on them. I know others with gas crucible ovens that last many cycles.
