Scanner ready to use. It doesn't seem to want to read certain barcodes right away, but will eventually read employee cards. Reads barcodes well. Haven't used wireless yet but overall so far so good.

Does what it promises Seems TOO sensitive. I've had some barcodes that were tightly packed and couldn't reliably tell WHICH barcode to scan until it was read. This led to some input errors that I had to fix late. For any other task, of course, this would be a GREAT scanner; and the wireless option is a great addition too.

I bought this to review the folks at our facility. Our ID cards are a bit shiny/shiny and this scanner will scan them. We've tried to make registration easier, but we need to move and tilt/tilt the card to allow it to be scanned. it's not efficient at all. Unfortunately, we only set up our system a few months after the return deadline, so we're stuck with a scanner that doesn't work very well. Keep looking if you want to scan shiny surfaces or phones.
