Description of 5pcs Nano V3.0 AVR Atmega328P-AU Adapter with Nano Terminal Adapter Shield Expansion Board for Arduino Nano V3.0 AVR Atmega328P-AU Module

【Designed for Ar duino Nano V3.0】The item is a terminal expansion adapter, working very well for prototyping Ar duino Nano projects. 【Finished Product】These boards are fully assembled. No soldering required. Size is about 2.21" x 1.65" x 0.50" (L* W* H). 【Nice Platform for Wiring Circuits】It provided a nice platform for wiring circuits to Ar duino Nano.It can connect a large number of digital lines to Ar duino while maintaining the footprint of the original Nano. 【Easy to Use】You can use this adapter to easily hook up Ar duino Nano to an outside world via hook up wires, and It can be used in conjunction with or in place of a breadboard. 【Little Tips】It lables for Ar duino Nano version V3.0, however you can still use this adapter for the previous version (just have to remember that A0-A7 are in the reverse order).

It works! Electronics

Hardening my Arduino Nano has been a problem since the beginning of my journey into electronics. This solved the problem. I first used it on a museum style scoreboard which now holds the electronics firmly in place with no way of disconnecting. I used the doorbell cable for the connection. It's great for making permanent connections without soldering while keeping the Arduino reusable.

  • Good thing
Cons

Cheap quality PCB, the best computer components

The quality of this PCB is absolutely unacceptable. Even the slightest pressure on the terminal screws separates the circuit on the underside of the feed-through terminals from the circuit board. These gaps are very difficult to detect, resulting in strange behavior on the Nano board (sometimes DI/O works, sometimes not). With all the jumper wires I had to solder between the 0.1" pin headers and terminal blocks, I'd be much better off just using pre-made PCB breadboards. I won't buy them again.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Functionality and value for money

When you add an Arduino Nano to a project, it's a very easy way to wire it up. I used this to make a flux capacitor replica and it made the connections much easier.

Very low quality product, do not buy

I bought this type of adapter because of the larger connector. But after I received it, I started to worry about the quality. First, adapters have problems with fixing the cable, so the cables are often unscrewed. After disconnecting the wire so many times, I decided to find a wooden board and attach the adapters to the boards so the wire wouldn't pull on the adapters. But after I screwed the adapters on, all four adapters have the same problem that some connectors and pins of the Arduino Nano…

Required to install Nano

available I use this in my builds with my Nanos and it's amazing for industrial screw terminal applications. Love love love and I will use it more.

Pros
  • Nice Platform for Wiring Circuits
Cons
  • Update

Terminal/Routing/Soldering

I had problems with multiple boards due to a bad connection between the screw terminal and the nano connector. For some reason there is no/discontinuous continuity at some positions.

Pros
  • Ease of Use
Cons
  • Blank

Best Development Module for Arduino Nano

An ideal module for prototyping new devices. Screw terminals make swapping connected components much easier compared to soldering to circuit boards, and the connector makes it easy to program and test multiple boards with the same programming.
