Top quality: seats and saddles

Excellent quality seat. It's more solid than other reviews suggest. I would like the gel to shrink a bit but I think this will work. I would say it's good for short and medium trips.

Very good saddle for the price

A big improvement over what was on my bike. Very convenient even when traveling more than 50 km. Can be a bit longer, but still allows for some positional adjustment. Seems good enough

Great saddle for cycling

54 I just can't wear thin hard saddles like I used to. An amateur road cyclist averaging 80-100 miles a week put about 160 miles on this saddle and I have to say my butt is a lot better. Don't get that battered, tired feeling on my seat glasses. I accept it. My old saddle (Cannondale Caad 10) was a bit cumbersome so now it's easier for me to put on more miles.

Amazing comfort seat at a great price - the usual terry top quality in the range

Really like the Cite Y Gel saddle - VERY comfortable and doesn't feel like an oversized saddle. For years, I put up with the inconvenience of racing saddles just to save weight and look—silly. Treat your soft spots to this seat - you won't regret it. Super comfortable, great shape, doesn't get in the way off-road and the small additional weight is worth the comfort.

The hole is the key to comfort!

I am a keen outdoor enthusiast so comfort is important. This saddle has two characteristics related to comfort. One of these is gel, where the ischial bones are in contact with the saddle. The other is a hole in the middle - on very long rides (ie 5-6 hours or more) a standard saddle compresses a blood vessel in the perineum, restricting blood flow, ultimately leading to numbness in the back. On the day I did those really long rides I experienced it sometimes, not fun but the feeling came back…
