I tried it, the iron seems to have 3 heat settings, you can't set or tell the temperature, it's just marked with 3 different colors. 100% straight. Very good hair straightener. It's small and great for my short hair. It heats up quickly and I even used it on the back of my husband's head. He wears it a little longer than most guys and it tends to curl. This will take care of that in no time. I've never used a straightener before, but I'm glad to know that I can use it to easily curl my hair and add lots of volume when needed. Overall I am very happy with it and also with the price.

I wanted a smaller iron because I only use it for bangs/fringes. I liked the sound of it as it has 3 temperatures (which I wanted, 400 degrees Fahrenheit, although I usually use 350 it's there too). I also wanted something with ceramic plates instead of titanium as I felt my hair glides better with ceramic and I've read that it heats the hair from the inside and presumably does less damage? The cutest little thing. I literally shrieked when I received it with overflowing joy. like a pig I shouted. 🙄 I was on a trip and there was only a little space left in my bag, and lo and behold, this little miracle fit into a tiny pocket and I squeaked uncontrollably again. Unfortunately, once I get to your destination, I find that the thing doesn't get hot enough to straighten the strand, no matter how thin the strand of hair is. Nice. But it's getting hot, like in a light oven.
