It's expensive but I like the ease of use and the EDID function prevents the stupid Windows OS from ruining the screen by flipping windows, if ports are switched while the monitor is on. I turn the monitor off at night, and when I turn it back on in the morning, I find that on the port I left selected, all the windows are messed up, as if the EDID function doesn't take effect when the monitor turns on out. Claims to be exactly what I want, but is frustrating to get it to work properly. I bought the 4k60hz model and like the others it initially only gave me a 1080 Full HD screen on my 4k display from my 4k capable laptop. The laptop said I was connected to something with a display I had fhd which sounds like 1080 to me. It was Kim's ID.
