Efficient: The testo 557 is ideal for servicing air conditioners, refrigeration systems and heat pumps and replaces the multitude of tools needed by HVAC/R contractors and technicians. Versatile: Accurately measure high and low pressure, evaporation and condensation temperature and take advantage of the automatic calculation of superheating and subcooling. Convenient: Thanks to the 4-way valve and automatic heat pump mode, there is no need to switch over to different refrigerant hoses, which enables a quick and easy application. Set: Includes two pipe clamp temperature probes, one external pirani probe for vacuum measurement and a set of four hoses, as well as a protective hard-shell case. Refrigeration App: Follow all measurements remotely via Bluetooth from a smartphone or tablet. Send results directly from the job site for a more convenient documentation.

Low Quality - Tools and Equipment

Extremely cheap plastic, there was quite a bit of plastic flash on the handles from the molding process. The temperature sensor terminals felt like they were about to fall apart. It could be a regular $200 digital collector, definitely not $540+.

Ease of use for tools and equipment

rainproof, can be stored in hot and cold weather, withstands extreme conditions, easy to install, small compared to most brands. The only problem is that the hook, not a very good one, pops out of the nest after about a year of use, but to me that's little compared to the work you get from them, the hook doesn't interfere with the work.

EXCELLENT QUALITY AND PRECISION! Much better than ANYTHING the Chinese can do!

Fantastic set of digital dividers! Outstanding German quality! The included manifold calibration certificate and vacuum gauge certificate further increase the reliability of this device. Upon receipt I sent it to an independent lab and they got results within 0.005% of what was stated on the calibration certificates that came with the kit. In short, this kit is superior to ANYTHING the Chinese are trying to produce.

The hoses are rubbish, but the yellow jacket is. The sensors are great!

I like the sensors. I am very disappointed in the hoses. After spending so much money caused by my need for new hoses, I got these crappy hoses along with my gauges. I think I'll jump on yellow jackets too. I think I'll buy a 605i soon too, the sensors are great, but to get the right SC and SH you need a room-wet bulb. You can't go so far and start guessing! I have attached some app pictures from my phone. You won't regret getting a spring for your own hoses.

Don't buy this kit, buy everything individually, save money, don't be fooled like me

I like the manifold except for the big gap in the display right out of the box and hoses. I was in HVAC school and decided to shell out a nice set of gauges, the hoses are said to fail in our classroom after first use, new out of the box, I was going to wait for the unboxing when I got to school, the Manifold is cool well it seems cool I haven't had time to play around that much because the hoses were failing and my instructor told me we can't use them until I get new hoses when I'm almost $600
