Simple and strong - claw hammers

This is a simple and strong hammer. The handle was a little rough when it arrived but I wrapped it in red tape so I could identify it at work.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Empty

I finally have my own hammer

I finally have a really good hammer for my tool box and it doesn't weigh 5000 kilos. All of my husband's hammers were harder to maneuver. It seems silly, but with a lighter hammer it was a lot easier to carry and use. This one is well done.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Hard to say

Not as expected for hammers

The wood on this one is weak. It's not broken, but it's light and seems flimsy, and I dare not hit my nails hard with it. And the striking end of the hammer is oddly shaped, very thin and difficult to aim. Just not what you would expect from a hammer. Strange. Works well for very light jobs but not for heavy jobs.

Pros
  • High support and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • Functionality

Very good light nail puller

This hammer is very well made and a great all-round hammer for home and DIY work. The handle is light and well balanced with the head and claw. It is not too heavy making it ideal for most household needs. The handle is slightly rough, making it easier to grip and harder to get out of your hand.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not bad

Excellent lightweight hammer

This hammer is not designed for heavy use. It's meant to be a lightweight hammer for light tasks, and it certainly excels at it. It's true that there is a trade-off between weight and durability. Because it is a lightweight hammer, it cannot withstand even the strongest impact. However, if you just need to drive in a few nails and don't want to carry around a heavier hammer for such a simple task, this is the perfect tool for you. In its intended use, the grip seems more than strong enough. It…

Texas Best hammer is too big for its power

I received this hammer in 18.5 ounces. We needed a hammer to keep in our kitchen drawer for quick access to commonly used tools. This is a small drawer in the closet and we store small tools like a hammer, screwdriver, tape measure etc. However, it turned out to be too wide for our narrow tool box. It measures approximately 11 3/4" x 4 3/4", weighs 1 lb and has a 1" face diameter. We love that it's lightweight and great for small jobs around the house (hanging pictures in the home or for…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast

Good little hammer with nails

I needed a light hammer for sticking pictures and light woodwork. When this product became available I ordered it. Here's what I found: 1. This seems to be a very well made tool. The metal and wood finishes are very beautiful. There are some deep insets at the end of the handle (as if nails had been hammered in and removed) which I assume were made during the manufacturing process. My guess is that the handles were inserted into metal pins from the top of the tree to mount the hammer head on…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Vanish

I was looking for a light weight hammer.

I went into the hammer drawer in my tool box the other day and noticed that I'm getting shorter and shorter hammers. I have a large, full-size hammer with a long handle and a contoured handle with a flared tip so it doesn't fly when you swing it; It's not this hammer. The wooden handle is plain with no flared base, so hold onto it. I was surprised to find out how rough the surface felt when using it, because I got splinters in my fingers when I slid over it. Yes, I really had to remove the…
