I specifically buy Fram Tough Gaurd filters because they're the only ones I've found with that rubberized grip end. All but one of my cars are hard to reach by hand so this definitely helps with installation and removal. With these filters I never have to try to use a wrench to remove the filters like I do with other filters.

Fram oil filters worked fine for me but after watching a few youtube videos After looking at reviews of various oil filters I decided it was better to spend a few dollars more and buy a better filter as these Fram filters have very flimsy design and poor quality filter elements compared to some other brands but if you are on a very tight budget these filters will also get the job done, thanks. This is good value for money. This is a mid-range filter. Are there better filters? Yes, they are more money. Some people say there are better filter elements than this filter, but I haven't seen any evidence for that.
