This device is ideal for controlling the temperature of a 1 liter jar of kombucha. I bought it hoping to use it to partially pack two ships side by side. The strap wasn't long enough to reach both, but by sewing extra Velcro onto the strap I was able to get it to work. Check the temperature easily with self-adhesive thermometer tape. When my initial order was defective it was very easy to work with this company for a replacement. I installed a new one under 3 - 1 gallon cans in a "box". I started on a medium setting to increase the temperature. The one closest to the cable was about 1 degree warmer than the one furthest away. Unfortunately I was delighted to receive this film but it did not fit the Kook 2 gallon dispenser which is very popular with Revain and has a spout supplied in stainless steel. I understand the description says it fits "most" 1 and 2 gallon dispensers so I guess it's my fault... I just accidentally ordered one that doesn't fit .
