I've been trying to make a feeler out of paint roller handles for years. But they always fail fairly quickly, and it's difficult to get the right sharpness from a metal tip without being too sharp. The probe is very durable, looks professional and the metal tip is just right. They also have great customer service and they stand behind their product. I recommend the termite probe or the home inspectors as a valuable tool for conducting inspections there. beam

First I want to say how incredible the customer service is. I received my probe and it arrived at 8am and I was thrilled because I was just going to work and able to use my new instrument. I am a termite inspector who has made dozens of dry rot probes starting with sawed off paint roller handles. I finally started epoxy gluing metal stamps into the paint extensions to get into the hard to reach places. This probe looks like a paint roller handle, but the metal is slightly thicker and feels more durable than most paint rollers.
