Bee for needlework

Cute design! I am careful with dental floss and, with the exception of one color, I have enough left over to embroider the second.

Pros
  • Beauty
Cons
  • Silence

Tape that holds the thread together is sticky

The tape used to tie the thread is sticky, difficult to remove, and has broken off some ends of the thread. I think an additional thread could have been added for the $ spent on this project. There really is no margin for error. While it's nice to have a symbol with a paper chart separating the thread, a description of the color would be helpful.

Too cheap for the money you pay

instructions suck. The subject says it's a DMC but doesn't give a number. They only list 1 strand not 2. I tried to contact the company and they refuse to provide numbers. They want me to buy a brand new set. You are rough with it. Anyone who makes cross stitches knows that 2 threads make the product more durable and shiny. Absolutely not worth your money!

Pros
  • cross stitch
Cons
  • ugly packaging

Difficult and tedious, but worth the effort.

This set is disappointing BUT WORTH IT! The yarn has no color labels and is only sent on a symbol card. Be careful not to confuse them or you will never understand. The company does not provide assistance in determining thread color. The pattern is detailed making it a really beautiful finished piece but difficult to work with. Colors are very bad and scattered. I couldn't have done this if I hadn't made a copy of the schematic and noted the colors as I worked. But it's really nice and I'm glad

Surprised by Poor Presentation

I was so surprised that no one told me how this set was put together. The floss comes with a piece of thick paper with holes and a symbol over the hole as a guide to using the correct color of floss for the bee. Well, when you're at least halfway through with the project, the thread will be a chaotic mess. When a thread comes out of the holes, you can't know what character it is. To make sure you don't have trouble knotting or tangling the thread uselessly, you need to redo a poorly done design

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Disappearance
