I have long dreamed of a thermal imager. There was an idea to take the phone Caterpillar. This is a simple model, but it will be better than Chinese counterparts.

I have no problem with the hardware. The problem is that the Android app is not working properly. When I add a "point" for temperature, a circle or a rectangle, I can't edit it in any way. The FLIR app is top notch - better than the search app. The "Search" application crashed regularly. It *NEVER* recovered from screen off -> screen on events on my iOS devices. It was "disturbing" at best. The FLIR app never crashed with this use - it always restored and displayed a usable image. So much for an app. Search is 4x the resolution of FLIR ONE PRO. The UI could be a lot easier to understand, and why don't they make the exact goal of a contrasting color? Almost impossible to read while using the camera. Look at the photos. Flir couples the real image to the thermal image, and if it does seem to produce good images... until both images line up properly.
