Surprisingly Effective Insulation

I was HESITATING to try out a new insulation for my automotive exhaust but I`m glad I did. Based on my experience, Thermo Flex performed better than my previous insulation. It is effective in reducing heat and noise, as well as being easy to install .The only downside is that the adhesive could be stronger. Overall, I highly recommend this insulation for automotive exhaust systems..

Pros
  • Effective insulation against temperature changes and moisture for wires and hoses.
Cons
  • Installation can be difficult without professional help due to the need for precise measurements and cutting.

Effective Exhaust Insulation for Automotive Applications!

This insulation works like a charm in keeping exhaust heat from damaging nearby components and wire harnesses. It's easy to install and has proven effective in my car's exhaust system..

Pros
  • Great insulation, easy installation.
Cons
  • A bit on the pricey side.

About the same as Wrap but allows inspection of liquid lines

Appears to offer about the same level of thermal protection as anything else in this type. For hydraulic lines like power steering and A/T cooler lines with large crimped fittings at the end, that's my ticket because I can cut them open and put them on a hose. I don't like wrapping hydraulic, cooling, or oil lines because they're difficult to unwrap when you want to inspect the line for fraying or signs of leaks. Inspection isn't that important on a road car, but basic safety is on a race car.

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • Volume
