I had to order a larger diameter and then my old one. There seems to be a discrepancy between the advertised size and the actual size. My old one when I measured it with a micrometer said it was 26.8, I had to order the next size up to get it to fit properly.

I ride a heavy 330lb mountain bike and had to make some modifications to my new bike as my old stem and saddle couldn't support my weight. It was a good buy. If you are considering purchasing, please follow the instructions and check which size fits your bike.

This luggage rack is well built. It's much lighter than the post that was replaced. But of course this is a personal matter and may be different in your case. The cover looks good. I'll report back if it scratches slightly over time. I've only had it on the bike for a few weeks. Make sure to purchase the seat clamp separately. This is just one post.
