Fantastic Hiking Socks

These socks are very comfortable and their cushioning is ideal for long hikes. I wore them on my 22-mile Mt. Whitney hike and my feet felt great.

My favorite winter socks

This is great! I can't say enough good things about her. They keep my feet warm in my normal outdoor boots and are very comfortable. I bought 3 pairs but I may need another pair.

Pros
  • Flat seam on toes won't chafe or irritate feet
Cons
  • Not reliable

The best socks! best for women

I bought this for my wife. As a marathon runner, I have always worn shorts because of their quality and fit. My wife loves them. They have enough padding for hiking or just lounging in slippers.

Pros
  • machine wash inside out recommended for fabric softener
Cons
  • useless features

Best wool socks - women

I wear Thorlo's wool socks almost every day - different pairs of course. :) These are my favorite socks. They keep my feet warm, wick moisture, and don't slip while hiking. I highly recommend these socks.

Pros
  • Maximum foot protection for women when hiking in any weather
Cons
  • Minor problems

great hiking socks, less heel pain with these socks

My heel hurts when I hike too much. I usually wear 2 layers of socks, one layer and one for hiking socks when running 7 miles. With this sock I only have to wear this pair and it offers good heel support. Love it!

Pros
  • Features Legendary Thorlo padding in heel and forefoot
Cons
  • Exchange available

My favorite hiking socks

Love Thorlos socks for outdoor activities. I've been wearing them with my Timberlands since 1990. This hiking team is a soft, comfortable, mid-weight fabric that wicks moisture and wraps around the arch of the foot for added comfort while keeping the toe in place while walking and climbing.

Pros
  • Made with Thor-Wick COOL fibers that wick moisture away from the foot to keep it cool and dry
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Too small, too short

I bought Torlo in the same size I've worn for many years but found it to be too small and the tubular part is the right way. short. I wear them a second time after washing hoping they fit better but they cause cramps in my toes. Dissatisfied. I am a big fan of spikes but they are not of this quality. Wouldn't buy again.

Pros
  • The fibers have been selected for efficiency and durability so the socks will last for years
Cons
  • Expandable
