It's a great print!

Expensive but excellent product. I used this to seal the timing chain cover. 3, the bundle appears to expand for a few minutes before the pieces connect. It's a great print!

best I have found for sealing 2-stroke shells

I've tried 4 different products to seal 2-stroke shell halves over the years and this was the best I've had I've ever tasted, even better than other flavors of the three bindings.

and it's the best! It's expensive but worth it

I've been using it to build VW engines for years and it's the best! It's expensive but worth it. It takes about 15 minutes to set up, so you will have a lot of working time. You can use it very sparingly.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Seals metal to metal and the seals are amazing!

My favorite seal so far! Thicker than aerospace permethex, but easier to apply than silicone. It seals my VW engine's covers and gaskets better than anything else I've used. In fact, this is a Yamabond that is no longer made. Works great on metal to metal and gasket to metal.

Excellent sealing material

I found out about this product at a bike shop, it worked on my 1978 Kawasaki KZ1000 A2, it had a hot rod engine and had to check the camshaft seals every time. 2000 miles. This required removing the valve cover, the KZ 1000 always had problems with valve cover leakage, even with new gaskets! All you have to do is very simply apply this product to the gasket and it'll be tight until it's taken apart again! It really works! and this makes removing the gasket most of the time without sticking to…

The best sealer I've ever used.

Very, very good stuff. I used it to seal a BMW engine which I rebuilt despite BMW's recommendation not to use sealant. I don't think they have much to talk about given how prone their engines are to losing oil. After the restoration not a drop has flowed in a year of car ownership. Tip: Clean the surfaces very well with acetone or something similar. Then apply a very THIN layer. You can use a small brush to apply a nice even layer. You don't want to smudge it. It should be as thin as possible…
